The Prince George Downtown Business Improvcment Association (DBIA) serves all the downtown property owners and all the businesses/tenants.
The Prince George DBIA wanted to refresh their brand in anticipation of the 2015 Canada Winter Games (CWG). We were tasked with creating a logo and brand that would be complementary to the 2015 CWG brand and remain relevant after the Games.
The logo is based on the famous clock tower and is composed of shapes, colours and fonts from the CWG brand. The red triangles are reminiscent of mountains and help place Downtown Prince George in it’s natural surroundings. The accompanying brand scene features a thriving regional centre with mountains, trees, people and buildings. The design was created to leverage the Canada Winter Games brand and create a legacy for after the games are finished.
