Edmonton Oilers Office Designs

Epic Design was brought in to incorporate the Oilers Entertainment Group brand into the office spaces at the recently built Rogers Place arena. The office and staff room walls were blank white and in need of some interest and inspiration. We designed the staff room walls, leaving space for white board announcements and brainstorming.

Challenge

We were tasked with adding some brand and life to the office and staff room walls around Rogers Place. It needed to represent a cross-section of Oilers Entertainment Group, which not only consisted of the Edmonton Oilers, but also the Oilers Foundation, their junior team the Condors, live entertainment, and Rogers Centre. They wanted to bring in some inspirational quotes to their twelve-plus boardrooms as well.

Solution

The staff room was a large room surrounded by bare whiteboard walls. In order to clean up the look of the room, and having various sections identified for each department, we designed vinyl divider sections to use around the room, tying in the blue and white with a hit of orange used both in their brand standards, and in the interior design of the room. We took an inventory of all spaces and rooms with desired graphics, and mocked up designs on the photos we snapped.

Results

We produced the press files of the final approved design of the staff room according to supplied measurements, and provided to the supplier to print and install. The final result is a more creative space for staff to lounge, a more effective and attractive set-up for posting notices to other staff members, and a space for all-staff meetings with up-to-date information all in one place, along with a space for brainstorming.
